Potato cream cheese soup (crockpot)

2 boxes dry hash browns (Costco) plus the water it calls for
3 cans chicken broth
1 block (8oz) cream cheese, cubed
1 Tbs dry onion
1 tsp dry parsley flakes
1 tsp garlic powder
1 C chopped, cooked bacon

Cook on high for 4 hours or medium for 6
